On the evening of December 4th 2019 at Place Vendôme, Art Bridge had the pleasure of curating a musical event in honor of House of Cartier, featuring Christophe Chassol, accompanied by a choir directed by Lionel Sow, conductor of the Orchestre de Paris.
Talented composer and multi-instrumentalist Christophe Chassol has agreed for Cartier and Art Bridge to revisit the spirit of the holiday season through an original composition entitled The Message of Christmas, which evokes both the enveloping warmth and the crystalline delicacy of Christmas sounds. For this live performance, he was accompanied by 12 singers conducted by the brilliant conductor of the Orchestre de Paris, Lionel Sow.
To allow the audience to relive this emotion, Cartier unveiled from December 7 to 19, an immersive sound experience with an installation designed by Marcel Van Doorn and produced by Art Bridge at 13 Rue de la Paix in Paris, in the historic office of Jeanne Toussaint - the "panther woman", the House's most iconic creator.
In a setting of gold and light where visual references are lost, Christophe Chassol's music takes centre stage: twenty loudspeakers spatialise the sound and plunge the listener-spectator into the heart of an immersive sound experience. A sensory journey inspired by the spirit of Christmas and Cartier's magic where the loss of bearings awakens the senses. A pure moment of emotion at once suspended, generous and timeless.
