Art Bridge curated the bespoke artwork « Besoin d’Air » by artist Mathias Kiss for Cheval Blanc in Courchevel.

Mathias Kiss composed a 13-part polyptych for the three stars restaurant Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc providing the perfect stage for the striking culinary art of chef Yannick Alléno. He uses a moulded wooden frame covered with silver leaves. « Besoin d’Air » takes place in the extension of the restaurant's large bay windows opening onto the ski slopes. An echo to the architecture of Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc in Courchevel designed by Sybille de Margerie. Like an optical illusion, the work gives the impression of a succession of windows revealing an infinite aerial world.
