Paris-based designer and art director Emmanuel Bossuet focuses his endaevours on reinterpreting archetypes of the decorative arts.
Long-involved at consumer-electronics Thomson Studio in Paris as industrial designer, he nevertheless went along with an in-depth practice as surface designer for fashion houses.
Now connecting the two worlds, his approach combines at once the notion of know-how with daring cultural references and visual presence.
Engaged ever since as art director on various architectural & decorative projects, he worked for jewelry Houses like Cartier (Rue de la Paix, Champs-Élysées, Tokyo Aoyama) or for the seminal multi-brand stores Maria Luisa (in France & China).
Signing projects for brands like Knoll, DeBeers, Lalique, Swarovski or Pierre Frey, he has teamed up since 2015 with prominent french bronzesmith and light manufacturer Maison Charles as its creative director.
